The new dividend scale interest rate will change from 6.5% to 6.35%, effective July 1, 2018. This change will affect each series of policies differently. Learn more. 

If you are currently a policy holder you will receive a notice of the dividend scale change with your annual policy statement. You can also find a copy on EquiNet®, Equitable Life’s advisor site.

Furthermore, the policy loan rate will decrease from 7.0% to 6.85% effective June 30, 2018. This applies to all new and existing policy loans.
