Marsh Announces First Blockchain Solution for Proof of Insurance
On April 16th Marsh, a global insurance brokerage and risk management firm, announced the first commercial Blockchain solution for proof of insurance. They have partnered up with IBM, ACORD and ISN to make this possible.
The project seeks to transform, the complicated and manual certificate of insurance process, into a streamlined and a transparent solution. This will improve business functions and increase certainty of coverage.
Currently, the Blockchain network is under construction and is expected to enter production by the end of 2018.
