Robert Trasolini - MDRT: Top of the Table Award

This year, one of our founders and financial advisors was honoured with receiving the Million Dollar Round Table - Top of the Table Award for being in the top one percent of advisors in the business.

Here is more about the award and what it signifies, how it helps us better serve our clientele, and what it means to him.

What this award signifies

The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), founded in 1927, is a global association of the world's leading life insurance and financial services professionals from over 500 companies in 70 nations and territories.

To even qualify for the MDRT you have to be in the top 10% of advisors, but there are more prestigious levels to this, such as Court of the Table if you achieve three times the written premium investment needed to qualify for the MDRT.

Above that is Top of the Table which you qualify for by writing six times more premium than those in MDRT or double the premium investment of the Court of the Table. Which put Robert in the top 1% by being Top of the Table.

How it helps us serve our clients

Having access to the MDRT's vast global network, education, and training is vital. It allows us to improve our skills and become better advisors, by continually improving our education.  It also gives us access to the top advisors from around the world to learn best practices and serve our clients better.

What it means to Robert

"When I started in the financial services industry in 2010 I was told that becoming an MDRT advisor was an important goal and something to strive towards. It showed a level of success, competency and commitment to the industry.

At the start it seemed like a unsurmountable goal and something that I wanted to push towards; Top of the Table was not even something I thought was possible at that time. Qualifying for MDRT many years ago was an important goal but having hit the Top of the Table this year has been at time to reflect on the 13 year journey in this industry.

It has made me realize how far I have come, all of the ups and down that I have endured and the friendships along the way. It has also made me realize what is possible when you put your head down and work for sustained period of time without giving up.

That being said It is important to look up every once in a while and see how far you have come, pat yourself on the back and then keep going forward .

So for now I will put my head back down and keeping working towards a better version of myself. To serve my clients to the best of my ability, to be a better advisor, husband and father.

To everyone that has helped me along the way, thank you."
